Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS announces sponsor exemption, Michael Feagles
Feagles joins Jackson Buchanan in the 2024 tournament field.
Springfield, Illinois– The Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS announce a second sponsor exemption Michael Feagles, University of Illinois Fighting Illini Golf alum and T17 finisher at the 2023 Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS.
Feagles, 26, a native of Scottsdale, Arizona, turned professional in 2021 after receiving All-American honors at the University of Illinois. A tie for fifth at the Korn Ferry Tour Q-School Finals provided immediate status on the Korn Ferry Tour. Notching three top-25 finishes in both his rookie and second seasons on tour, including T15 at the BMW Charity Pro-am in 2023 after shooting 59 during the first round of competition, becoming one of 54 players in history on any tour with a sub-60 round during competition.
“Springfield has always been one of my favorite stops each year. The support I receive, the ILL INI chants from the crowd, and the Midwest welcome back always makes me feel like I am back in college,” said Feagles. “I also greatly enjoyed going on visits, spending time with kids and getting to show them a little bit about the game I love, golf.”
The Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS is scheduled for June 27 -30 at Panther Creek Country Club in Springfield.
