Springfield—June 8, 2022—The Memorial Health Championship presented by LRS announced a new partnership with Visit Springfield today that allows free access to all four rounds of competitive play during this year’s Korn Ferry Tour competition. The tournament is scheduled for July 14 – 17 at Panther Creek Country Club.
“We have a fantastic event planned for central Illinois and are thrilled to partner with the SCVB to make this event even more accessible,” said Kate Peters, Executive Director. “We are in the final few weeks of planning and are working hard to add many new on- course amenities for spectators. With this new partnership, we can now expect record- breaking crowds in mid-July.”
“We are in the business of driving visitors to Springfield and this partnership is a testament to just that,” said Scott Dahl, Director of the Springfield Convention and Visitors Bureau. “The City wants to do our part to help make the event accessible to anyone who wants to attend. With free parking and shuttles provided by Landmark Ford, complimentary tickets were the next logical step.”
